KwaZulu-Natal

The 9-Day KZN Journey

9 nights From $8,500 per person KwaZulu-Natal

The journey moves through four structurally different ecosystems in KwaZulu-Natal, each one chosen not for scenic variety but for scientific significance. You begin in Tanglewood Private Nature Reserve, the only tour operator in the world with access to one of South Africa's last remaining patches of critical coastal forest. You end at Manyoni Private Game Reserve among the Big Five. Between them: iSimangaliso Wetland Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where Dr. Fritsch led the first hippo GPS study in Southern Africa, and Hluhluwe-iMfolozi, Africa's oldest proclaimed game reserve and the site of the last wild rhino population during the 1960s poaching crisis.
